MDining is working to be good water stewards by identifying water conservation opportunities and engaging in sustainable water practices.
As proud residents of the Great Lakes State, we are currently undergoing efforts to improve and promote our water usage and conservation policies, which will impact practices in our dining halls and future dining facilities.
Reducing Water Usage
- Gray water is used in dish troughs at some dining halls to reduce water usage.
- When retrofitting dining halls, all water faucets are replaced with low-flow and water-reducing technologies.
